Mr. Pérez Roque -France.

Cuba Democracy Now! urgently sends today (yesterday) a request to the French government, presidency of the EU.

Madrid, October 15, 2008.

Mr. Bernard Kouchner, Minister of Foreign and European Affairs.
Mr. Bruno Delaye, Ambassador of France in Spain.

SUBJECT: Urgent note to the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the French republic and to its Embassy in Spain, on the ocassion of the current visit of Mr. Felipe Pérez Roque, Castro dictatorship spokesman before France and Spain.

Your Excellencies,

Cuba Democracy Now! platform gave a confidence vote to the Spanish government to start a set of initiatives, with the aim to reach a strength of democratic values and essential freedoms in the Cuban nation. Later on we had to withdraw it bacause the above mentioned claims did not give the awaited results.

Recently we have witness a honoring display by a democracy (the Spanish), to the longest lived ditatorship on the Western Hemisphere (the Cuban), on the still painful visit of the Cuban Chancellor Felipe Pérez Roque to Madrid.

This is why our platform asks the presidency of the European Union and the government of France especially, not to give up on the values and principles which are the European Union foundation before Castro dictatorship, and at least to demand the Cuban regime emissary respect for the human rights and freedom for the prisoners of conscience in the island.

Please do not hesitate to contact me if you require further clarification.

Screaming voices of.....Democracy for Cuba!...Freedom for the political prisoners!...received the dictatorship spokesman Felipe Pérez Roque at the doors of the Viana´s Palace in Madrid, one of the Department of Foreing Affairs in Spain.

It is here where the established meeting with Minister Miguel Ángel Moratinos will take place, combined with a luncheon and a press conference, to communicate the interview results.

Meanwhile, at the Viana´s Palace doors, Cuba Democracy Now! platform activists continue to wait for the Ministers desire to talk about Freedom, Democracy and Human Rights.

Meanwhile the Ministers of Spain and Cuba are calculating the cost, that the so wished visit of the Cuban dictatorship spokesman will suppose for the Spanish people pockets, Cuba Democracy Now! activists will go at the doors where the meeting takes place, in case that by a sudden change of mind, the Ministers want to talk about Human Rights and the Freedom of a whole nation.

Minister Moratinos, sir, we want to remind you that the conflict between Cuba and Spain ended en 1898. It is not about spain and Cuba what it should be spoken, but about the tyranny and the violence against the Cuban people exercised by the Castro brothers, the Cuban Communist Party and the accomplice who will meet with you tomorrow. We ask you not to open up and abyss between our peoples because, sometimes, people´s wounds take a long time to heal.

PRESS NOTE.

Press Note: Spain, stop the fish, the worthy Cubans want and can fish too.

What are the scandalous results, and the progress accomplished by the Spanish Minister of Foreign Affairs Miguel Ángel Moratinos initiative?

What is his satisfaction?

How long are the Cubans democrats going to be spectators in this international theater?

Fed up with your fishing!, we want and can fish too. Enough of public opinion and international community entertainment. Stop playing with human rights, and favoring a dictatorship that is causing a civil confrontation by the use of civilian clothes parapolice forces known as Rapid Response Brigrades.

On October 13th and 14th, Spanish and Cuban Ministers of Foreing Affairs are meeting in Spain. Ahead of time we denounce their intention, (with a shared complicity smile on their faces), to silence the violation of Human Rights in Cuba and lack of liberties.

The Cuban Ambassador in Spain and his counterpart in Brussels had recently expressed, that the agreements will take place under an equal treatment and full respect of Cuba internal affairs. (The politic dialog offered by the Twenty Seven will take place when "the foundation" for a treatment as "equals" is lay down, said the Cuban Ambassador in Spain Alberto Velasco San José on October 1st,2008. Élio Rodríguez Perdomo said, that the foundation to develop that process, with a clear agreement among Europeans authorities, is "the mutual respect", without discrimination or interference in the internal affairs of the party involved, October 6th, 2008). In short words, the agrements will take place when the democratic European governments felt down, defeated, by the Cuban dictatorship stubborness, without realizing its abuses.

In advance, Mr. Moratinos, once more we are offering our participation for a peaceful conflict among opress and opressors, and in this manner we can all avoid a civil confrontation among Cubans.
